The long travel

On the way to the far land they would be known as aliens, they had no idea of what awaited but they were invited and came in good spirits.

The age of the travelers who got called immigrants would be young in the their teens men and women but also older in the twenties and thirties.

Britain or great Britain or even the united kingdom was often known to the passengers as England.

There was a community that heard there would be new people arriving and had stories of bananas and the food sent from abroad such as sugar.

Clothing of the men and women as they came was to look smart and often dapper for the time. This now known as common and not distinguishable from the jazz era, that the United States had embarked on as a fashion.

Black was a type of description given in the years that followed but the male and females were brown or yellow, red and yes some black.

Coconut had been a well known tradition for the now ethnics to be conquered again would not believe who they took them as.  

It was the Caribbean that the crafts departed from such as Jamaica the West Indies and further along more islands like Trinidad and Tobago.

Many of these places had been under British colonial rule and up to today are breaking away from the empire one by one in different ways as not be controlled!

Food for the coming people would be scarce, they thought the ship was bad but to land and find nothing provided was a shock. It was English most of them could speak and so believed they would be welcomed, but that was a short kind of fanfare for the people were now estranged from their families. Be it some babies and kids travelled with parents or grandparents, the likes of what was found could only make sense when said we are rebuilding after the war.

There was much hype about flying to Britain but no mention of the intrusion. If accepted was expected then there was an inside and outside to the country and the ghettos  where the place travelers ended up.

You might think did they have an education and that was yes for some others they never went to school for more than a few terms. Whilst never to be found until they began getting deported and now asked to leave is the way it is put. We find all these people were taken as the enemy as any new resident of an area, country and place soon finds.

Housing for the enemy or new arrivals was none, they were not even allowed to rent and the law said nothing such as for the Irish. People had to share rooms but this was not new to the country which new of dire poverty.

Level of the class that migrants found was not as good that was at home a word that came to flourish I want to go home. A saying up to now they need to be naturalized.

Home was a place they were happy but now housed as if poor abject and not wanted. Britain was known as the promise land and it came to pass you had to make it. But the politicians who came out on finding the subjects of colonialism had arrived said things like what are they, who are they and what can they do but build Britain. Feeling all the immigrant wanted was streets pathed with gold and golden elephants, as found from the missionary treasures.

Laboring was all that was offered and it was taken in line with the lifestyle that came, for if a man had been a farmer he could get no land easily to grow food or keep livestock until they acclimatized to the new system.  Such as no food, the ethnic food found back home not in the UK, today is available so many must have gone sick, as highlighted in the news of lately people need their home diet.

Society made it that this was fresh money from the aliens and they needed to be made one of us. The money will not last as found and so once they’re inducted they will work and make money to pay tax and so our economy will be better off. For it was not every person could get the riches from the plantations abroad of the colony or money from the coffee fields, and gold mines or oil etc.

Language made it possible to communicate whilst other immigrants not from the latest colonial rule spoke their mother tongue and still were able to survive but scorned for not accepting English.

Languages spoken by the Jamaicans would range in patois to French and Spanish to even African. Some seen this as a problem for records are kept and history is made of the fights, battles and wars of any one that took up arms against the kingdom. Could you be weeded out of the problems, well as the police put it, all the blacks look the same. There were fights and a past time to attack migrants, a special police unit named Z would handle the migrants, but the fights today are organized were fighters will be political.

A lifestyle past what was normal for a migrant was good to the neighbors but bad for the immigrant who found there was nothing at his rank. Rank played a big part on the immigration system where people disappeared into good living whilst others were left on the street up until today. For rank you would have contacts, there would be people who you knew who could help you. Whilst for others by the 1980’s they found asking who would pay for me to leave and go back home.

Of course the migrant needed money to live and this would not be provided until they had made some head way in the country. For money is life and to be a newcomer you may feel spend with the socialism and they will help you. But even now it is a one way system where immigrants are wanted only for money and nothing is spent with them. May be the migrants worked out how to live with each other from different countries but still the one way consumer approach is made. Courts have noted communities want better and do not want to stay as the consumer with no benefits but the end user. It was called paying into a system with no return!

Mixing was not allowed with migrants just the colour of people made a clear gap. If this was apartheid then there are places even now black people can not go, such as clubs or hotels. Be it people  pay but also seen as not wanted. Easy to say racism, on the other hand there was a case of the pure race with it known to doctors that inspection of families left an argument that end with mongrels. A game started where what was said law silenced in the open, bound to be places that are discussing aliens are black we have to take them as extraterrestrial or watch they do not take over. Welsh, Scottish and Irish seem to be at the perils of the English and can now be found spoken of in old foes.

Music was able to breakdown some barriers as it taught more about immigrants than could be gained at schools or in education. Black history seemed shunned and decedents of Jamaicans learn these days about black culture that was not available before but by the hardened families that set up book shops or the sound systems in the blues.

A common saying was I arrived by plane not the banana boat as it was and is seen by many people of colour are inferior. At a stage there was a finding that if you are to pale your also inferior and need a bit of colour, so suntan and also the white tan for blacks.

Renting a room is all one could do without the knowledge and money for good housing. Sharing a room might be worse. But being in squalor could not be done and so many tried to leave once seeing the conditions.

Slavery was supposed to be over since world war 2 when the countries went bankrupt. But modern day news shows modern day slavery and the biggest people trafficked has been the Jamaicans. If its bait many new it about money abroad, like the Africans would say never leave home. Or there would be distrust if there is anything out there but money.

Spanish speakers knew of skanks and must be the fact a pyramid bank set up by migrants always came back. Then the pyramid sales front keeps being offered, and thus family taught wise truths of friends who would rob you. But this was never to be said as were all in this together the migration ghettos. A style soon adopted of home is where the heart is and mine has been wrenched out and put here. Being skilled and not getting the job one does says a lot about a place known for slavery and white hate.

Being a traveler many did not pick up who was kidnapped, traveling freely or fooled into prospects of a good life. Ukraine now has migrants entering Britain and already they mention their mental health. After world war 2 any one entering the country was to be guarded and most like put in an immigration area where they could be watched. Will be the wealth of individuals that supposed to save them, regrettably this changes for aliens as they believed you are not to be better than them, the indigenous population.

Washing baths seem gone from the early days where poor people took a wash. You still have swimming baths and a West Indian MP said it don’t work when she showered naked and children watched her laughing after her swim. Problem is who has been duped for MPs have been caught with immigrants once they beat them for doing bad work after being smuggled in. So migration changed too caution of trafficking and money now is bait as you get a job it ends and have to do menial work. Then more jobs are said to be there and the bait started seems never to stop as a rush for wages, salary or good money keeps the people to the grind!

I mean Jamaican women were supposed to wear grass skirts and give flowers to people entering their space. This ceremony has been repeated for holiday makers and so the romance goes on.

But when white men can have a black woman and the black man had to work hard and go with no family for a long time in Britain, nothing is said.

Never mind a fact black medicine took some time to reach the UK and with all the technology of the white race, black health was the last on the issue. These days doctors come from abroad and so did the medicine like the food.

The welcome changed from build Britain too clen up Britain and sadly there are now a lot of black cleaners from abroad. In the 1980's the Yardies as they were come to be known chose crime like drugs that they were not allowed to do but is today sold in the shops. But the Yardie or West Indian gang had to face a hate from his British counterpart when they came. Once it was found drugs and money then the BMW a gold rush ensued with more and more gangs taking part. Before it was work in the hospitals, schools and drive the bus. Now the Yardie knew about money big and fast, it came to killing why they were gone. For so did rude boy and rasta or the dread whilst others kept to christian. The christian itself was to be withdrawn as not your God. if raggamuffin was the answer Ragga soon disapeared!

In the end as immigration was not the fashion for deporting got done. If to say a famous quote from a rapper was "Mash up the place, you offended me, so I disrepect."

Migrants left if under Voodoo, a curse had come and runaway was being said from back home. Jamaica asked for people back.

So when landed it started with bread and dripping, which some said I could not eat. There was potatoe and meat on a good day or weekend. It provoked many to state I have never ben in such poverty as this England has made me. Others call who can eat well a sell out as they must have, the white man said there is nothing here. You have come to the wrong place. To find starving in modern year 2000, so space has not worked and doctors say they find people can not feed themselves or there is nothing here for any one. Well what ever England to Britain was it has been carved up and dished out already.
